LITTLE NINJA CAMP Wednesday, July 30  10:00-12:00 This camp is specifically designed for our "little ninjas" ages 3-7 ... we will work on jumping, tumbling, evading, and some weapons.  The cost is only $10.  You can pay with Dunamis Dollars, real money or a combination of both! Morning Kids Movie Tuesday, July 29 after Morning Karate we will watch THE NUT JOB ... cost is only $2.00 Dunamis Dollars Adult/Teen Movie Night Thursday, July 31 after karate we will watch THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG! GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 3D - Friday, Aug. 1st  10:00 AM Join us at the Cinemark theater in Bluffton for this great movie release ... rides/ticket fees/snacks are the responsibility of each individual. Wed, July 2nd             Karate in the Park  10:00 AM – pull out your play clothes and sneakers and meet us at Turpin Park Wednesday, July 2nd for a 45 minute karate in the park class.  After the class, parents are welcome to let students play together on the playground if desired. July 15 – July 22nd     Closed for Training     Mrs. Woods & Miss Andi will be traveling to Las Vegas for the annual Chun Kuk Do International Training Conference.  We will be attending 4 days of training and 2 days of competition.  Be in prayer for our safe travels and for Miss Andi to once again wow the judges with her forms and be able to win that Norris Cup! Normal classes will resume Thur, July 24th! Tue, July 8th               Family Morning Movie – following our Morning Karate class, we will be showing “The Nut Job” and for only $2 Dunamis Dollars, students are invited to stay and enjoy the movie with us.  Pack your lunch, popcorn or snacks if you’d like and be sure you have a spill proof drink! Yes - we will be closed for THREE classes while we are training in Vegas, but you won't miss any class time because we have make up classes scheduled for you: Mon, July 14: Tiny Tigers 4:00 – Jrs 4:30 – Hyper Pro Training (All programs) 5:30 – Adults/Teens 6:15 Fri, July 25: Tiny Tigers 4:00 – Jrs 4:30 – Hyper Pro Training (Beg.) 5:30 – Adults/Teens 6:15 Mon, July 28: Tiny Tigers 4:00 – Jrs 4:30 – Hyper Pro Training (Adv) 5:30 – Adults/Teens 6:15! Thur, July 10th           Adult/Teen Movie – following our regular class Thursday night, we invite the adult/teen students to stay for only $2 Dunamis Dollars and watch a movie with us.  Movie title to be decided and announced later! Fri, July 11th              Hyper Open Kick Session – 5:00 PM Join us for a jumping, kicking, tricking class where you will learn some high flying kicks or tumbling skills that are not taught in our regular curriculum.  The cost for this one hour class is only $5 Dunamis Dollars! Wed, July 30th            Jr. Ninja Camp  10:00 – 12:00         For students ages 7 and Under only!  This will be similar to the Ninja Camp we held in July be gear specifically for the younger students.  They will learn tumbling, evasion and weapons!  It’s sure to be a blast and it only costs $10!

Dunamis Karate News June 2014 There will be a LOT of things happening this month, so be sure you mark your calendars!  If you have any questions about any of our upcoming events, don't hesistate to contact me! Starting June 3rd, we will be offering MORNING KARATE classes on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at10:00 AM.  This class will be open to all ages & ranks. Wednesday, June 11that 10:00 AM, join us for a family friendly movie.  Bring your own popcorn and spill proof drink, if desired.  The cost is only $2.00. Tuesday, June 24thfollowing the morning karate class we will watch a family friendly movie.   Pack a picnic lunch and stay to enjoy the movie with us for only $2.00! Wednesday, July 2nd at 10:00 AM we will meet at Turpin Park for a fun karate park session.  Please wear regular clothes and sneakers!  After the 45 minute class, parents may allow the students to play together on the playground if desired.  Friday, June 6 at 10AMwe will hold a Hyper Open Kick Session.  Come learn the coolest jump kicks & tricks and compete in challenges.  The cost is only $5.00. Friday, June 13th from 6:00 till 8:00 PM, we will host an awesome NERF WAR night.  Students of all ages are invited to attend and bring their favorite Nerf gun & ammunition.  Safety glasses of some sort are also required.  Eat supper before you come because food will not be served, but snacks & drinks will be available for purchase with REAL Money!   The cost of this fun night is only $5.00.  Friday, June 27th at 6:00 PM, we will hold a special class on the CKD Bo Form.  This class is not designed for beginner bo students, but for those who have had some previous training with the weapon.  The cost of the class is only $5.00. Friday, June 6th at 11:00 AM, we will have a special movie time for the teen/adult students.  The cost is only $2.00. Monday, June 16th we will hold a makeup class for all karate classes because we will be closed Thur, June 19th. Tiny Tigers 4:00 Jrs  4:30 Adults/Teens 5:30 CLOSED – NO CLASSES   Thur., June 19th we will be closed.  Attend the makeup class on Monday instead.  NINJA CAMP Friday, June 27th from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM,we will hold an amazing Ninja Camp.  Train like a ninja and learn evasive skills, weapons, and more! The cost for this 3 hour camp is only $15. Participants will need to pack a lunch.

Starting this Week Earn "Dunamis Dollars"  $$$$$$$ Starting tomorrow, every time students come to class, they will earn "Dunamis Dollars" which will work just like real cash and can be used to pay for fun outings, movie nights, summer camps and other fun events that will be scheduled throughout the summer.  The more classes you attend, the more money you earn!! This week is also "bring a friend week" ... each friend you bring will earn you $1 Dunamis Dollar (plus you'll be entered into the drawing for a free Hyper shirt). Dunamis Dollars can start being cashed in with our first fun event ... the Summer Fun Night on May 30th.  The cost is $10 ... you can pay with cash or your "Dunamis Dollars!" More fun events will be released in the coming weeks so stay tuned!!
