Dunamis Karate July 2021 Newsletter We have lots of things happening this month including 2 weeks of training in Las Vegas when the schools will be CLOSED. Please read everything carefully and mark your calendars now so you don’t miss anything!!! Printable Calendar

We wrap up our 4th and final week of summer camp on Friday, July 2nd with a water slide finale’. We do still have some spots available, so if you’d like to join us, register now through the app!

Daily Summer Camp Registration

We will be CLOSED July 12-23 No classes will be held July 12-23 as our instructors and several students travel to Las Vegas, NV for continuing education training and competition. We will be in training seminars beginning early Tuesday through Friday, then in competition Saturday through Sunday. This year’s event will be super special as Mrs. Lindy is up for promotion to 7th degree. The advancement will be presented by Mr. Chuck Norris on Saturday night of the event. Be sure to follow our FACEBOOK PAGE where we will update as often as possible.

Belt Testing is quickly approaching and we want to make sure all our students are ready for that test on August 9-10. That’s why we are once again offering the PRIVATE LESSON MARATHON. We will offer 1/2 hour private lessons at a discounted price, just in time to brush up on your skills before belt testing! Ridgeland students can sign up for a time slot with your choice of instructor on Monday, July 26 or Friday, July 30th. Hampton students can sign up for a time slot with your choice of instructor on Friday July 30th or Saturday, July 31st. Registration will be open soon!

PURPLE BELTS & UP Grab your sparring gear and join us on the mat for some great sparring drills and skills on Saturday, July 31st at 10:00 AM! Remember sparring is part of your belt requirements. Purple Belts and up are required to attend at least one Hyper Fight Club per test cycle in order to be eligible to test. Students must have their own sparring gear. If you need to purchase gear, please see Mrs. Woods or Mrs. Allison to get measured and get it ordered! $5.00 - Register through the app or bring cash

Belt Testing August 9th - 10th During Class We will hold belt testing during class on August 9-10. All students must be registered for the test through the Dunamis app. August 2-5 we will be reviewing for belt testing during class so make your best effort to attend classes this week!! Check the list below to make sure you meet ALL the requirements: Clean Well-Fitting White Uniform Minimum 80% class attendance Tuition payments must be up to date Flag patch and Dunamis patch attached to uniform (Gold Belts & Up) Fight Night attendance (Purple Belts & Up) Active UFAF membership with UFAF patch on the left chest (Purple & Up) Be sure to arrive at least 5 minutes early... If you are late to class, you may not be admitted! Test fee must be paid by August 8th in order to avoid the late fee!
