Dunamis Karate Newsletter April 2022  April is going to be the best month so far this year!   You don’t want to miss any of the great things we have planned so mark your calendars now so you don’t forget anything!  Printable Calendar

We invite our students to bring a friend to class with them during the week of April 4 - April 7th. Some of our best members came to us because a buddy invited them. One of your friends may be the next one! And remember, if your friend enrolls in one of our programs, you get to spin the PRIZE WHEEL!

We invite all students to join us at  Lake Warren State Park in Hampton on  Saturday, April 9th at 1:00 PM for an EASTER EGG HUNT! Various prizes will be awarded for the “hunters.” Be sure to bring your own basket or something to hold all your eggs!

T-Shirt Week for Missions Make a Difference  4/11 - 4/14 4/25 - 4/28 For a $1.00 donation each day, students can wear their favorite Tee in place of the Gi. All money donated will go toward mission work in Liberia, West Africa!

During the months of May through October, we allow students to wear APPROVED t-shirts in place of their hot gi tops.  Approved tees include Dunamis Karate tees, UFAF tees, Chuck Norris System tees, UFAF Krav Maga tees, and Hyper Pro Training tees.   These are the ONLY Approved Tees that can be worn on the mat during class.  If you do not have one of these tees, you will be required to wear your gi top!

Web Slinger PNO Friday, April 22nd 6:00-9:00pm

Get ready to swing into action at our next Parent’s Night Out! The “Spider-Man: No Way Home” movie was all the rage when it hit theaters. Whether you’ve seen the movie or not doesn’t matter because your kids can get in on all the Spidey FUN at our upcoming Web Slinger Parents Night Out! The theme for this event is, of course, Spider-Man, and I guarantee it will be lots of FUN! There’s going to be Spider-man themed games including ... Peter Parkour Obstacle Course Web Slingers Electro Shock Goblin Bombball Doc Ock Showdown Find a Cure If you’re like most parents, you’re always running around taking care of your kids and you don’t have any free time for yourself or quality time with your spouse. This a great way to let your kids be kids in a safe environment while you go out and enjoy yourself!  Parents Night Out is the perfect way to spend 3 kid-free hours in BLISS doing what you want to do. Spots are LIMITED and believe me, they WILL sell out fast, so reserve your spot now in the Dunamis Karate app!

Hyper Fight Club Saturday, April 23rd 10:00 AM

Remember sparring is part of your belt requirements. Purple Belts and up are required to spar at least once every test cycle in order to belt test. $5.00 - Pay through the app or bring cash Students must have their own sparring gear. If you need to purchase gear, the instructions are in the “INTERMEDIATE CURRICULUM” section of the app.
