UNBELIEVABLE, but one month is already gone in this new year and we are moving full speed ahead into our 2nd month. We have some big things happening this month including another belt testing so read on to make sure you don't miss anything!

T-Shirt Week - February 10-13

For a $1 Daily Donation, students can wear a t-shirt to class in place of their gi tops. All money raised will go to mission work in Liberia, West Africa!

Purple Belts and up, grab all your sparring gear and come ready to "rumble" as we prepare for the Goodwill Tournament ... and meet your belt test requirements at the same time!
Register through the app or bring $5.00 cash!

Belt Testing
Monday & Tuesday, February 24-25
During Class

Test fee must by paid by Sunday, Feb. 23rd, or a $10 late fee will be added!!

Pay through the app and there is no need for paperwork.
Pay by cash or check and you will need to bring the printed exam request form.

Check the list below to make sure you meet ALL the requirements:

Clean Well-Fitting White Uniform
Minimum 80% class attendance
Tuition payments must be up to date
Test fee paid prior to test start date or a $10 late fee will be added (pay through the app and no paper test form is required. Pay by cash or check and we will need this TEST FORM turned in as well!)
Flag patch at Dunamis patch attached to uniform (Gold Belts & Up)
Fight Night attendance (Purple Belts & Up)
Active UFAF membership with UFAF patch on the left chest (Purple & Up)

All Tiny Tigers 5:00
Beginners 5:30
Intermediate & Advanced: 6:00

ALL Belts will be awarded on THURSDAY, February 27th
We invite all family and friends to come and help celebrate our students' success on Wednesday, December 18th. Be sure to bring your cameras because each class level will give a short performance and receive their new belts.

Goodwill Practice Tournament
Friday, Feb. 29 . 5:00 PM

We will hold our final tournament prep class on Friday, Feb. 28th.
During this practice tournament students will practice the lineup, bow in, and practice their forms and weapons katas. This final class will make sure students know what to expect at the Goodwill Tournament so they will be prepared to perform and represent our school with confidence!
The cost is only $5. You can register through the app or bring $5.00 cash!
REMEMBER - The deadline for the
Goodwill Early Bird registration is Feb. 23rd!

Register through the app to keep things simple. If you prefer, you can visit the website, print the registration form, then mail it in with a cashier's check or money order. But do it before 2/23!!!

BOOSTER CLUB MEMBERS

March 2nd is the Deadline for you to decide if you will join us
in Las Vegas for the 2020 UFAF International Training Conference
and Mr. Norris' 80 Years Young celebration.
We must have your decision by Monday, March 2nd!

NOTE: All members who decide to attend the ITC as "sponsored" students of the Dunamis Karate Booster Club will be required to attend all seminars and compete in at least 2 events in the World Championship ... Forms, Weapons, Sparring or Jiu-Jitsu.

Members who commit to attending the ITC will be provided extra training opportunities to help prepare them for the event and the competition.

The first ITC Prep Training will be held on
Saturday, March 28th at 11:00 AM in the Ridgeland school.
Mr. Crosby Broadwater from Augusta, GA
will be our special guest instructor.

We will hold more training events on at least a monthly basis.
