Hyper Leadership Training Module 2 Leadership is a Skill that can be Learned by Anyone This class builds Leadership Power and earns Respect which is the foundation of leadership and helping others. Acquire the Leadership Skills to Live Your Best Life! Increase Motivation, Inspiration and Self -Confidence  Build Dedication, Commitment, and Perseverance  Develop Social and Friendship Building Skills  Learn Valuable Public Speaking and Communication Skills  Learn to be a Great Team Player and Empower Others Surround Yourself with a Powerful Community of Positive Friends Accomplishing Meaningful Goals Even if you didn’t attend the Module 1 training in April, you can still attend the Module 2 training!! Pad Holding Movement Drills 5 Strategies to be Charasmatic Specific Positive Highlights 3 Ways to Be a Powerful Teammate This class is held at the Ridgeland location:  1000 West Adams St. Ridgeland, SC 29936

Belt Testing June 5th - 6th Register before 5/31 to avoid Late Fee - Registration will be turned off on 6/3. If you do not register before then, you will not be allowed to test! TEST REQUIREMENTS: * Clean well-fitting white uniform * Minimum 80% Class attendance (minimum 17) * Membership Program Payments up to date * Test fee paid by Sunday, 5/31 or $10 late fee will be added. * Must have earned Black, Red, & Yellow Stripes (Traditional, Combatives, Fitness) * Flag & Dunamis Patch attached to the uniform (Gold Belts & Up) * Active UFAF Membership (Purple Belts & up) * Fight Night Attendance (Purple & Up – 1 every 3 months) * If you are not registered in the app, you will not be allowed to test *Arrive early and be dressed & ready - IF YOU ARE LATE YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TEST! Limited spots are available for each time slot.  The times are fist come-first served! You must reserve a time for your appropriate rank level.

Ridgeland Summer Schedule Change

This Ridgeland schedule will be in affect until July 30th.

Single Day Summer Camp We have opened up single day summer camp options for students who want to experience our amazing summer camp fun, but can’t stay all week. You can book one or more days using the EVENTS tab in the Dunamis Karate app. Friday’s are WATERSLIDE DAYS!!  We have scheduled a GIANT waterslide every Friday in June.  But spots are limited so reserve your spot now! Dad’s Days at the Dojo June 19-22

Dad’s, in honor of Father’s Day, we invite you to join your students on the mat during class and we invite you to try out our UFAF Krav Maga Self-Defense class on Tuesday & Thursday nights at 7:00 PM.

Watermelon Festival Demonstration Friday, June 23rd - the evening of the street dance, we will perform.  More details will be available soon. You MUST have this tee-shirt if you want to be a part of the demo.  Orders must be placed by June 10th!!!  Order your Watermelon Festival Demo Tee in the Dunamis Karate app by June 10th!

We will be CLOSED for Training & Competition July 3 - July 14 No classes will be held on these days!

Summer Uniform Time!

Starting May 1st, full uniforms will no longer be required in our classes. Students will be allowed to wear a Dunamis Karate, Hyper Pro Training or UFAF/CNS tee in place of their traditional gi tops.  Shorts can also be worn IF they have the Dunamis logo.   NOTE: All shorts must be longer than the finger tips! You can purchase a tee/shorts from our inventory or bring us a blank t-shirt/shorts and have our logo added for only $5. This is as economical as it gets!

STRIPE TESTING May 1st - 2nd

Stripe Testing Monday & Tuesday, May 1-2.   If a student misses or fails a stripe test, you must purchase a private lesson in order to sharpen the lacking skills and make up the test.  You can purchase a private lesson with any instructor.  As long as it is done prior to belt testing on June 5-6, the student should be allowed to test as usual.

Action Hero Photography Friday, May 12th to HAMPTON Saturday, May 13th to RIDGELAND

Action Hero has become an annual event for Dunamis Karate Students and we look forward to seeing their amazing photos every year!  We want all of our students to reserve a time slot to have their photo taken so that they can be on the school poster. It is absolutely free to be on the poster.  If you choose to buy photos, they have packages starting for a low as $27.  Register in the Dunamis Karate App for your time slot.  Remember EACH student needs their OWN Time Slot … so a family of 3 would need 3 time slots!

Super Smash Party - Mario Themed PNO

Friday, May 19th  6:00 - 9:00 PM In the Mushroom Kingdom there’s a group of super friends. Some with crazy powers, that in the wrong hands can spell doom. But there is hope, the Super Star Power! So let’s gear up for party time. Jump on those Toads, ride your Dino, and Beat the King Dragon in a night of party games no child will forget.  Let our cast of voice actors take your kids to a land where they are the characters in this month’s parents night out. Use that time for something important like, taking a long bath or going out to dinner. Either way you’ll know they’re having a great time with great friends and even greater instructors. Yeah I know that’s not a word but our team is pretty cool. This is a night of gamification and entertainment. So MOM/DAD enjoy a night where the kids get to use their imagination, get a little exercise while having fun and give yourself a break. Spots are Limited - Reserve your spot now in the Dunamis Karate App!

Hyper Fight Club - Saturday, May 20

Saturday, May 20th at 10:00 AM Remember sparring is REQUIRED for PURPLE BELTS & Up.  This will be the LAST chance to attend your sparring requirements before belt testing on June 5-6.  So, if you didn’t attend the HFC class last month, you MUST attend this one in order to be eligible to test in June!

Closed for Memorial Day May 26 & 29

We will be closed Friday, May 26 and Monday May 29th for Memorial Day - No classes will be held on these 2 days!

SCHEDULE CHANGE - RIDGELAND

RIDGELAND STUDENTS - We will have a very minor schedule change for the summer starting June 7th, right after belt testing.  Please note your new class time will run from June 7th to July 28th.

Summer Camp Spots Still Available

WEEK 1 June 5-9  “Out of this World Week” Everything about this camp will be "out of this world."   The theme of the daily activities will rotate between "Wonderland," "Neverland," "Star Wars," and "Aliens."   The "Star Wars" day will include Light Saber training and the "Alien" day will include NERF Battles!  WEEK 2  June 12-16 “DreamWorks Week” Camp activities will rotate daily around some of our favorite Dream Works films: "Madagascar," "Kung Fu Panda," "How to Train Your Dragon," & "Trolls." WEEK 3  June 19-23  “Into the Wild Week” We will take some of the most popular "video games" and play them out in active fun on the mat!   WEEK 4  June 24-28  “Sports Fanatic Week” Daily camp activities will rotate around some of our favorite sports including Basketball, Football, Soccer & Baseball, but all of them with our own special Dunamis Karate Twist! Every week our Friday Finale will include a GIANT WATER SLIDE!  Reserve your spot now in the Dunamis Karate App! Stay Tuned for “Daily” camp options to open up as camp dates approach!
