Dunamis Karate Newsletter June & July 2019 The next two months are going to be really busy as we move into summer.  Please be sure to mark all these events and changes on your personal calendars now so you don't forget!! We have crafted an event like no other, with everyone's favorite show in mind - Pokemon! Your kids will get the chance to design their own Pokemon inspired monster, learn from Professor Evergreen how to be a master trainer, and defeat Team Galaxy in a duel that they will be raving about for weeks! Best of all? Your kids will be using their imaginations and playing active games all night! PROS - You get to have a kid free night 🙌 - The kids aren’t sitting at home with a baby sitter watching TV (Lame!) - They will get to flex their imagination muscles 💪🏻 - They will be supervised by our trained professional staff - They will get to play Pokemon inspired games and follow a narrated story CONS - It is only happening one night ☹️ - Your child will talk about how much fun they had for DAYS (better than talking about fort nite!) - Spots are Limited… and always fill up FAST 😮 So be sure to ➡️ Register Now! We will be spending 3 hours playing active games, learning how to use magic, joust, fighting a dragon, and so much more! How are we able to do all this? These audio instructions create a one of a kind interactive story that will have your kids talking about this event for days on end! May 2019 Newsletter

Dunamis Karate News May 2019 The next several months are jam-packed with events and some schedule changes.  Make sure to read thoroughly and mark your calendars now so you don't forget anything!! Printable Calendar  Starting May 6th, students will be allowed to wear "Summer Uniforms."  The summer uniforms will be allowed through October.  Only Dunamis Karate, UFAF, or Hyper Pro Training tees will be allowed.  If you do not have one of these approved tees, you will need to wear your full uniform. Dunamis Shorts will be allowed if they are longer than the fingertips.  We can have the logo applied to your shorts for only $5.  Just bring in your shorts and we will take care of it.  The new summer design shirts have been ordered and will be ready SOON! Remember Purple Belts & Up are required to attend a Hyper Fight Club event at least once every two months in order to be eligible to belt test.  Newly promoted purple belts need to see Mrs. Woods or Mrs. Allison to get your sparring gear ordered. The dates for the next 2 fight nights is Friday, May 3rd at 5:00 PM.  Then the next event will be Friday, June 7th at 5:00 PM. NOTE this is a NEW time - 5:00 PM! Music for Missions Birthday Celebration Jim and Andi Lynn want to share their birthday celebration and their love of music with family and friends. Here is your chance to be entertained: enjoy music by the Woods Family and support a worthy cause! Our family will be providing Live Music on Friday, May 10th from 7PM-until at the Dunamis Karate building in Ridgeland. This will be a charitable event supporting the Andi Woods Christian Mission Institute in Liberia! We are asking for a $10 cash donation from each guest at the door. ALL donations will go towards our current mission projects starting with our clean water initiative! SUMMER UNIFORMS

The weather is changing and it is quickly getting HOT!  That's why we allow students to wear "Summer Uniforms" through the months of May-October.  

The summer uniform consists of a Dunamis Karate or Chuck Norris System tee plus Dunamis Karate logoed shorts.  Simply bring us your shorts and we will have the logo added for only $5.00.  It doesn't get much more economical than that!  (Remember shorts must be longer than the fingertips!)

We have a super cool design ready to print for this summer and we need your orders by Friday, April 20th!

HAMPTON STUDENTS - you guys get a special design that will also serve as the "uniform" for our Watermelon Festival performance on Friday, June 21st, the night of the street dance.  You are also welcome to purchase the other design, but you MUST purchase the Watermelon Festival design!!!
