March was a super month, and April is going to be even better. Along with belt testing, we have some fun events planned this month. Some of them will have limited space, so reserve your spot ASAP!

The Leadership Training Boot Camp which was scheduled for March 28-29 has been postponed until Saturday, May 6th. All SWAT and STORM Team Members will be required to attend this training or be removed from the leadership team. More information will be available soon. | Belt Testing - April 13-14
There will be no regular classes on those 2 days ... Only testing, so if you are not testing, you do not need to come to class. Please remember that test forms & test fees must be paid prior to testing. Download your exam request for by clicking HERE! Students testing for higher than Gold Belt need to have the proper patches in place. Students testing for higher than Purple Belt need to have active UFAF membership. Test Fees are as follows: Tiny Tigers - $15, Beginners - $15, Intermediate - $20, Advanced - $25, Jr. Black - $50, CKD Pre-Test $75. (Make-up tests can be scheduled. They cost an ADDITIONAL $25 ... meaning if you are a Tiny Tiger needing a make-up test, it will cost $15 + $25.) Belt Graduation will be Friday, April 22nd at 5:30pm.

| Karate & Skating - April 15th
Karate Demonstration & Skating - Friday, April 15th at Fun Wheels in Hampton All students are invited to join us in a special karate demonstration (the same that we did at the Goodwill Tournament) and a night of skating. The rink opens at 7:00pm. We will start our demonstration at about 7:15 then have the rest of the night (until 10pm) for skating. The entry fee is only $4 (special karate pricing) if want to stay, plus $1.50 if you need to rent skates. Concessions are available. The night will be more fun if we can bring a lot of our Dunamis Karate friends!!!

Karate Demo for Thomas Heyward Spring Fling - Saturday, April 16th at 1:30pm All students are invited to join us in a special karate demonstration (the same that we did at the Goodwill Tournament) at the THA Spring Fling. We will meet at the karate school at 12:30 and rehearse a few times then drive over to THA. |

| Glow Nunchuck Party - April 22
Glow Nunchuck Party - Friday, April 22nd at 7:00pm (after the belt graduation) Learn how to use a traditional martial arts weapons in the coolest, most exciting way ... in the dark!! This is one class you don't want to miss!! Cost is $40 which includes participation in the class and a take home weapon. Limited to 12 students to sign up ASAP. Pre-register by April 12th and have your choice of glow chuck color!!

Mass Intro - Saturday, April 23rd at 10:00am FREE Karate intro class Do you know someone who would like to try a karate class ... and maybe even join our program? This is the perfect opportunity. This free class will last about an hour and is open to anyone 3 years old and up!
