In This Issue Belt Testing Requirements Advance A Belt Camp - August 8 & 10 Summer Schedule - Starts June 7th Summer Camps - Space is Limited It's time to start thinking about and planning the summer.  Many of you already have family vacations on your calendar and know when you will be away from karate, but even if you are away, your karate tuition is still due as usual.   But we don't want your payment to go to waste, therefore, we will be giving private lesson vouchers based on your absences during the summer months of June-August.  Each voucher is valued at $20 - $40 dollars and you will have one year to book your private lessons.  One on one training is an invaluable tool and a super way to sharpen skills or learn techniques not taught in regular classes.  If you would like more information about purchasing private lessons now or want more information about the private lesson vouchers for summer absences, please don't hesitate to contact me! Belt Testing Requirements  We are just 2 1/2 weeks away from another belt testing (June 1st & 2nd).  Please read over the requirements for each class level and make sure you are in compliance with the rules: Tiny Tigers & Beginners: 1- Must have 80% attendance 2- Must be current in tuition payments 3- Must turn in promotion form signed by parent/teacher and $15 test fee 4- Wear full white uniform 5- Must have proper patches (flag & Dunamis) if testing for higher than gold belt or gold stripe. Intermediates: 1- Must have 80% attendance 2- Must be current in tuition payments 3- Must turn in promotion form signed by parent/teacher and $20 test fee 4- Must have proper patches (flag & Dunamis) 5- Must have active UFAF membership and patch in place if testing for higher than Purple/White Advanced & Higher 1- Must have 80% attendance 2- Must be current in tuition payments 3- Must turn in promotion form signed by parent/teacher and $25 - $50 test fee 4- Must have proper patches (flag, Dunamis & UFAF) 5- UFAF membership must be current Advance A Belt Camp   The June 1-2 belt testing will be the last one of the summer.  Students won't have another chance to advance in rank until October ... UNLESS they come to this special "Advance A Belt Camp" on August 8th & 10th.  This camp will be two 5 hour days packed with all the requirements students need to get their next rank.  They will test on each portion of the curriculum as it is completed.  At the end of the camp, belts will be awarded to everyone who successfully learned their skills. This camp is your last chance to earn rank before October.  The cost is only $75 and it includes the belt test fee! Space is limited to 10 students, so reserve your spot Today!		Summer Schedule  We have re-worked the summer schedule in order to do our best to accommodate all students.  Starting June 7th, the schedule will be as follows: Tiny Tigers & Beginners      Tuesday & Thursday     3:30 - 4:30 pm Intermediate & Advanced      Tuesday & Thursday     4:30 - 5:30 pm Black Belt Club            Thursday 5:30 - 6:00 Beginner Sparring       Thursday 6:00 - 6:30 Beginner Masters Club   Tuesday 5:30 - 6:00 Demo Team                  Tuesday 6:00 - 6:30 Jr. Black & CKD Black Belts      Tuesday & Thursday    6:30 - 7:15 Advanced Sparring        Tuesday   7:15 - 7:45 Advanced Masters Club  Thursday 7:15- 7:45 Adult Beginner/Intermediate      Tuesday & Thursday      7:45 - 8:30      Summer Camps  We have 5 super fun   3 hour camps planned for   Mondays throughout the summer.   The camps are $30 each,   or sign up for all 5   and pay only $100 That's a savings of $50!! Each camp is limited to 15 participants so get registered ASAP to reserve your spot!! Also, in case you missed the last Leadership Training, we are holding a make up class this Saturday from 10:00am until 12:00pm.  The cost is only $20 and students who successfully complete the class will become members of the new Leadership Team. Next Saturday we will have a moving outing to see Kung Fu Panda 2 ... as the time approaches we will announce details!
