Tournament Prep Weapons Class Feb. 9 6:00 $5.00
Learn a weapon for to compete in the Goodwill Tournament on Feb. 24th. We will be teaching a beginner and intermediate bo staff form.
If you are wanting to learn a different weapon, consider booking a private lesson with Mrs. Andi Lynn.
Hyper Fight Club Feb. 16 6:00-7:00pm $5.00
Purple Belts – Meet your sparring requirements for belt testing and get some practice in before the Goodwill Tournament on Feb. 24th. Students must have all their own sparring gear in order to participate. If you need to purchase gear, see Mrs. Woods or Mrs. Allison ASAP!
Tournament Prep Practice Run Feb. 23 6:00 PM $5.00
If you are going to the Goodwill Tournament, you definitely need to attend this class. We will do a practice run of the tournament allowing students to perform their weapon and open hand form.
Feb. 17 Pre-Registration cut off for the Goodwill Tournament
Registration forms must be mailed by Feb. 17 in order to get the early bird $45 price!
Feb. 12-16 T-Shirt Week $1.00 Daily Donation
For a $1.00 donation each day, students will be allowed to wear a t-shirt in place of their gi tops. All monies raised will go toward mission projects in Liberia, West Africa.
Private Lesson Marathon Feb. 23 $25
Book a half hour, one on one private lesson with Mrs. Woods to sharpen your skills before belt testing. Thirty-minute time slots are available between 3:00-5:00 PM.
Goodwill Tournament Feb. 24 Lady’s Island
Every year we look forward to participating in the Goodwill Tournament. This is a wonderful tournament for beginner to advanced students as everyone will have great competition and receive a beautiful 3’ trophy. There are divisions for ages 3 to adult!! Take advantage of our tournament prep classes this month and join us at this fun tournament. Early registration is only $45 but your registration form must be mailed by Feb. 17th! Learn More
Belt Testing During Class Feb. 28, March 1 Be sure you meet ALL Requirements:
* Clean Well-Fitting White Uniform
*Tuition Payments Up to Date
*80% Class Attendance
* Test Fee & Form Turned in Prior to Testing
* Flag & Dunamis Patch on Uniform (for Gold & Up) -
Purple Belts & Up:
* Active UFAF Membership with Patch on Uniform
* Fight Night Attendance
- 1 per cycle for Purple - Blue
- 2 per cycle for Blue/Green & Up
Super Hero Parents Night Out March 2 6:00-8:30 $20
Get some time away from the kids and bring them to our Super Hero Parents Night Out. Parents rave about the fun their kids have at our events and the best part is the kids will be worn out and ready for bed when you pick them up. But, there are only 17 spaces available so get registered ASAP! You can bring one “non-karate” friend for FREE! REGISTER NOW!
