1st Degree Black Belt Test Saturday, October 21st 11:00 AM We have 5 candidates testing for their 1st Degree Chuck Norris System Black Belt: Eli McLemore and Reece Langlands from Dunamis Karate - Ridgeland Elijah Brunson and Landon Platts from Dunamis Karate - Hampton Victoria Cheatham from UMAD in Augusta, GA.

Kick-or-Treat Parents Night Out Friday, 10/20  6:00-9:00PM Parents, You deserve a NIGHT OFF!! Let us entertain your kiddos (and wear them out) while you enjoy a night to yourself. We have 3 hours of fun, active games planned for them! Attendees are invited to wear their costumes to this event.  We will have a special photo shoot set up to showcase their characters. Reserve your spot now through the EVENTS tab of the Dunamis Karate app.

Hyper Fight Club Saturday, October 21st 10:00 AM Purple Belts and Up - This is the first HFC sparring class of the new test cycle.  Grab your sparring gear and come join us for some great sparring drills to improve your sport karate skills. If you are a new purple belt and don’t yet have your own sparring gear, see Mrs. Woods ASAP!

Black Belt Test & Regional Training Event Saturday, October 28th

These training events are FREE to UFAF members!!  We encourage all UFAF Members to attend the event in Beaufort SC on 10/28.   The youth seminar at 2pm led by Mrs. Lindy and Miss Andi will be skills you have done before.  We really want to have our students there to set the example for how the skills should be done!! Adults & Teens UFAF Members are invited to attend the Counter Handgun Workshop taught by Mr. Steve Hammersley from FL. If you are not yet a UFAF member, you can join today for as little as $7.99 per month.  Just visit www.UFAF.org

We will be CLOSED Tuesday, 10/31 for Halloween.  Enjoy your night off.

This Tuesday, 9/20 is the last day to PRE-ORDER you Tee

- If you don't pre-order, we may not have a tee to fit you! 

- We want everyone to be part of the performance … but you MUST have this new - - Gopher Hill tee in order to participate!

This tee design will be the "uniform" for our performance at the 2023 Gopher Hill Festival on Saturday, 10/7/2023 in Ridgeland.  

All students MUST have this tee in order to participate in the performance!  

We want EVERYONE to take part.  

Parents are encouraged to also order a tee and show support for our students!

You can choose either color tee!

It reads "I am a product of my choices" "If you do the work you get the reward"

PNO THIS FRIDAY, September 22th 

- Gotham Knights Theme

- 3 hours of Batman themed fun and games 6-9pm

Final HFC is Sept. 23th

- Last chance for purple belts and up to meet their sparring requirements

- 10 am Saturday 9/23

Black Belt Pre-Tests This Sat

- 2nd - 3rd Degree 11:00 AM

- 1st Degree 3:00 PM

- Make sure you have registered in the app for the pretest!

NEXT WEEK is BELT TESTING

- Registration will be turned OFF on 9/22 so don't delay!

- Be sure to register for the correct rank!!

- Must have 80% class attendance

- Membership payments up to date

- Must have earned Black & Red plus Yellow Fitness Stripe

- Must have clean, well fitting uniform Patches for Gold and Up

- UFAF Membership for Purple & Up

- Hyper Fight Club for Purple & Up

If you are missing a Black, Red, or Silver Stripe - speak with an instructor ASAP 

- You may not be eligible for belt testing!

HAMPTON school will be CLOSED on Thursday, 10/5

Ridgeland school will have a modified schedule on Thursday, 10/5

- Tiny Tiger Class / Demo Practice 4:30 - 5:00 

- All Ranks Demo Practice 5:00 until 6:00 pm.

Gopher Hill Festival demo October 7th

- We will be practicing some in class over the next 3 weeks

- We will have an extra practice on Saturday morning, 10/7, after the Parade (around 11:00 - 11:30).
